Spent all day trying to hammer out the shading on this one. So tired. Need sleep.
Oh well. This is Destoroyah and Zetton. Two of the most powerful monsters ever to grace the screens in Japan. Two beasts that immortalize the word anti-life. Their entire existence is to propagate death to the living. Death incarnate I suppose they are. So I figured, why not pair them up.
Destoroyah was the final monster to face Godzilla in the 90’s Timeline. His birth was completely man-made. An ancient form of crustacean life, mutated most likely due to the Oxygen Destroyer (A weapon that I have him clutching in his claws in the picture). He goes through several stages of evolution before settling on the above demon like form. He can spew an Oxygen Destroying beam from his mouth and, by generating energy in his horn, can slice through a foe like a hellish katana sword. Add this with his wings for flight and crab like pincher tail, Destoroyah has came and conquered fans hearts the world over.
Zetton was the final monster to face Ultraman in the original 1966 series. He is an organic like machine, created by the Zetton race. It’s sole purpose is to kill and conquer. The beast was designed to counter all of Ultraman’s powers. He can teleport across a battlefield, generate a force field, shoot plasma shots from it’s “eyes”, and shoot a thin red beam from it’s yellow face plate. The monster can also absorb energy blasts with its hands, and redirect it back at it’s attack. All in all, it is a most horrendous beast. So much it actual kills Ultraman. A feat achieved by only a tiny handful of monsters and seijins in the Ultra Universe.
Should these two ever cross each others paths, I honestly do not know who would prevail. Destoroyah’s only real weakness is extreme cold or heat. Two things that Zetton does not necessarily have. I mean his energy attacks do have heat, but nothing really compared to Godzilla’s Spiraling Beam. But Zetton has the ability to move around and not really tire. It would be close but I just think that eventually the devil Destorayah would not be able to put up with the constant attacks of the machine like monster. Either way, they have both proved to be villains to never forget. To be death in the flesh
