Silver Bloome encounters MegaShark

Well it is Sunday, the end of Shark Week. And as a celebration to this great event….and the recent surge of B-movie shark flicks as of late, I decided to do a piece of incredibly random art for it. I say random cause I really just sat down at work and doodled a rough sketch of this very illustration cause I was bored out of my mind. So with that out of the way, lets get to our combatants shall we?

First off we have Silver Bloom...a kaiju that comes from the later episodes of the TV show Ultraman Leo. This strange looking octopi like creature is actually a UFO beast that heralds from the Black Star, (picture in the corner of the illustration). He is under the command of Commander Black and honestly is a horrific beast. He single handle killed off the entire MAT team from Ultraman Leo. The Attack Team that adds Ultraman Leo in every battle….was eaten! They do not come back! They were actually killed….along with nearly half a city of people. I kid you not, this beast did more killing in his one episode then probably every Ultraman episode added together. It really is a landmark episode in the Ultra universe.

Now, the critter he is tangling up with is called MegaShark. A beast that has been in two separate films from The Asylum movie team. The first film he fought the Giant Octopus. In the next…he battled the Crocosaurus. Somehow the monster just keeps on surviving. But now he is going to be in a third movie believe it or not. MegaShark vs. MechaShark. Oh yes…you heard me right. He is a fighting a giant robot version of himself. haha. Suck it MechaGodzilla!

So who would win this battle of the titans. In one corner you have a jellyfish like beast that has constricting tentacles. Can change size at well. Releases toxic and flammable liquid from it’s cavernous maw….and he can fly. Not to mention can can swallow enemies that are even larger than himself like a real jellyfish. MegaShark on the other hand is just a normal shark…just blown to kaiju proportions. He can jump really high though haha. High enough to pull a 747 Jet out of the air haha. Though you got to admit. He does seem to find a way to always keep coming back.

We all know who would win, but I figured I would do something a bit tongue and cheek for this. Hope you all enjoy my little slice of kaiju humor. And on a side note. What is up with me and Magenta/Purple? Honestly it just seems that is one of my go to colors o_0
