Considering how freaking swamped I am going to be in the next few days; I figured it would be a good idea to get this illustration out a day or two early. I might need to feed on people's reactions to this one, to get me through those days lol. Hopefully it will be a positive reaction haha.
So this is a weird crossover that popped in my head one day. And it really only steamed from the fact that this monster, Gabadon, is brought to life by a weird light ray from space. A light ray, that just so happened to hit a child's drawing on a concrete pipe and brought it to life. It is certainly one of the more odd monster origins out there I will admit. And before I go farther....yes I like the Larva form of Gabadon A, way more than that Adult Gabadon B form. It's those teeth man. Human teeth should never be put on a lizard kaiju.
But I just took the pipe idea and ran with it. Put the drawing on a Mario pipe; add some clouds and Goombas; and then bam! You got yourself a very head-scratching crossover idea.
Most of the cloud styles and background stuff, I modeled after the SNES classic...Super Mario World.
I know this isn't as serious and dramatic as the last couple of pieces. But I wanted to do something a little more humorous and fun So with that, I bid you all a safe and fun weekend! Check back next week for something new from me!!
