Well this one took a while. Have I ever mention how much I hate rock monsters? I mean essh he took forever. Oh well. Here is the next set of Ultraman Jack Monsters. MM really wanted Gudon (it is one of his favorite Ultra monsters ever), and Jason wanted Bemstar. So here are the 2 stars.
Gudon: Is a wicked monster that rose from the depths of the Earth. It set about to rampage mankind, vainly searching for itís prey; another monster by the name of Twin Tail. The monsters end up clashing, but Jack interposed himself between their battle. A very unwise decision. The monsters ganged up and end up defeating Jack!. The two continued their war for the next few days. Jack, now healed, along with the humans, went about to stop the monsters once and for all. Blinding Twin Tail with a rocket shell to itís eyes, made the monster incapable of defeating the demon Gudon. Gudon killed Twin Tail but was eventually brought down Jackís Specium Beam.
Despite not having any beam powers, Gudon proves to be one of the most vile and vicious kaijus ever to place itís foot upon Earthís soil. His arms are long whips that can be used to strangle a foe, or whip them to death. His brutality at the outright murder of Twin Tail just shows the killer instinct that Gudon possess.
Gorbagos: Is a pretty bland typical rock monster from the Ultraman Jack series. Gorbagos lives in the mountains and only becomes violent when humanís enter his domain. Several times the humanís engaged the monsterÖÖ.but somehow the monster was able to run away, (or dig away) and then hide by laying against a rocky cliff. Yes, a 50 meter kaiju that resembles rocks can camouflage against a mountain just by laying by it. So well is this that the humanís just walk right by him!!!! *Sigh* Ok, they figure out that if they dump a whole bunch of color spray paint on him, then it will take away his ability to hide. So now we have a rainbow colored monster that Jack ends up fighting and killing with the Specium Beam to the back.
While I like the idea of the monster, and how the humans fight and interact with him in the episode, Gorbagos just falls flat in the department of being very memorable. He does have the ability to shoot a heat blast from his mouth. His ďhandsĒ are more like rocky clubs that he can use to just beat a foe done. His skin is rock, making physical assaults against him is very difficult.
Ghostron: Does this guy look familiar to anyone? YeahÖ..he is a revamped Earthtron suit. Anyway, this is another monster that rose from the Earth to cause trouble. The humans didnít waste any time and set about to attack the monster. Unfortunately Goh (the human form of Jack) shoots a missile at the monster, which ends up getting stuck in the monsterís tail. This weapon is a powerful bomb that has a 10 hour time limit. (Why did they put that on the plane!!!!) The monster shows up again and decides to take a nap out in front of a dynamite factory. MAT tries to lure the monster away but with no results. Jack shows up and takes Ghostron away, flying him into space where he can blow up safely.
I was not much of a fan of this monster, but he has grown on me. I really think that this monster is the brother of Earthtron that fanís speculate. Or at least a cousin. He has the ability to shoot a heat beam from his mouth. Other than that, he is a pretty basic giant lizard kaiju that can dig underground.
Bemstar: Is one of the most important kaijus in the Ultraman history. He is a species of space monsters that came to Earth in order to feed itís endless appetite. Landing on the planet, the monster was met was resistance to itís bottomless lust. MAT and the JSDF attacked the monster with no effect. Missiles and artillery was useless. Jack was the only hope. Transforming the giant did battle with the monster. Bemstarís power was too great though, forcing Jack to have to use his Specium Beam early. When it seemed that the beam would do itís job, Bemstar pulled a fast one. Itís gut opened and ate the beam! Jack was then beat down more, forcing him to retreat to space. There he was given the Ultra Braclet by Ultraseven. A weapon that allowed him to slice up the demon Bemstar once and for all.
Bemstar is a jolly fiend that lives to feed. It can shoot an energy blast from itís cranial horn. His belly can open up and devour energy attacks and other forms of destructive power like rockets and things. He can fly surprisingly well too for his size. Bemstar is a great monster, both in design and story. His character is so important, showing that the Ultraís are not invincible.
Well, here is the set. The next 4 are already drawn, so it will not be that long of a wait between the next one and this hopefully. Well, enjoy!.
