Ultraseven Chibi Capsule Kaiju by earthbaragon Ultraseven Chibi Capsule Kaiju by earthbaragon
Last of the kaiju series. This finishes off the Ultraseven Villian and Ally roster. Ships for the things will be done but for now I am going to probably take a week long break since I hammered out 3 sets in 1 day. Hope you all liked the ride. Here is the 3 capsule monsters for Ultraseven.

Windam: This is Ultraseven's most used capsule monster, a giant robot called Windam. While this thing is not that moveable, it proved it can be a valuable asset. He can shoot a laser beam from his forehead that that is about it. His first mission was to destroy a bunch of UFO's.....a task he was sorta successful at. Next he was to fight the Kanan seijins....which he failed and was taken over. His final mission was to attack the Alien Guts...which lead to the aliens destroying him :(

Agira: This was Seven's last capsule monster that he showed to the world. It is an over-sized dinosaur with a ramming nasal horn, that's all. His first mission was to attack Riggah, another dinosaur monster that he failed to beat. The only other time he was called out was to fight the fake Robot Ultraseven....another task that he failed because he could not bring himself to fight his master.

Miclas: Ultraseven's most popular capsule monster, Miclas made his debut by fighting Eleking. Even with his heat beam from his maw, he could not defeat the electrifying monster. Miclas' only other show in the series was to fight the monster Gandar, another beast that he failed to defeat.

Tada, that is all folks everything is done for Ultraseven, minus the ships which will be done from time to time. Now I got the giant sheet to do which will host 64 monsters and aliens!!!!! Making it bigger than the original Ultraman sheet.

All characters are copyright (c) characters of Tsuburaya Productions

I liked the concept behind the capsule monsters, as well as their designs (from Windam's bird bot look to Agira's dinosaur self), but I was kinda disappointed by how ineffective they were. I mean, none of them ever succeeded in defeating an enemy monster, and Ultraseven always had to step in to finish the job, kinda makes ya wonder why he even bothered (or why he didn't use the capsule monsters to fight alongside him instead of using them one at a time & watching from the sidelines)

And one thing that I like from the capsule monsters, they look like imaginary friends

They do not last very long that is for sure. Most the time when he uses them though is cause he losses those Glasses. You never saw Hayata lose the Beta Stick nearly as often as Dan lost those glasses. He always fell for the hot ladies what can I say. Agira was really the only one that was effective to me. Still was sad that Windam got destroyed by the Guts. Grant it, they are my favorite aliens from the series but it was still sad.

Nope, that one came out first (and was awesome lol). I got Godzilla vs Biollante as well, another film I've been wanting to add to my collection for a long time. All I need now is Godzilla 1985/The Return of Godzilla and I'll have the entire series at long last! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! >8D

I wonder if the capsule monsters were an inspiration for Pokemon.

Wouldn't surprise me. I mean look at young Chi-Chi's outfit in the original Dragonball. Look a little like Ultraseven :P
